The Chronicle called this one “make morning movement a fun activity.” I call it “the day daddy almost died.” I’ll let you decide which title fits better.
You know, as I was typing this up, I realized that my wife needs to work on her smack-talk. On the other hand, I’m not sure having all four of us doing smack talk would be a good thing. It’s a conundrum.
One of the best parts about goofing around with the kids is when they start goofing back.
In which an uncomfortable truth is revealed about me and alcohol. Don’t worry. It’s not what you think. At least, I don’t think it is.
Swapping time with the kids. It’s a time-honored, if not particularly appreciated, tradition among working parents… It does have its benefits, though, especially when eating breakfast at Steak n Shake.
I actually feel a little bad about this one. I mean, he had done a really good job. The problem was the mockery. I just don’t react well to that.
How did you start your week? Ours pretty much rocked, though I think my son might disagree.
This is about as far from a Christmas story as you can get, but I have a feeling this scene will probably be repeating itself throughout the holidays.
