I always have a tough time taking romantic movie moments seriously. Now, though, I think it’s going to be downright impossible.

You know, as I was typing this up, I realized that my wife needs to work on her smack-talk. On the other hand, I’m not sure having all four of us doing smack talk would be a good thing. It’s a conundrum.

In which an uncomfortable truth is revealed about me and alcohol. Don’t worry. It’s not what you think. At least, I don’t think it is.

Swapping time with the kids. It’s a time-honored, if not particularly appreciated, tradition among working parents… It does have its benefits, though, especially when eating breakfast at Steak n Shake.

I actually feel a little bad about this one. I mean, he had done a really good job. The problem was the mockery. I just don’t react well to that.

If I were writing a movie about the kids, this would probably be the opening scene.

I suppose there are worse things he could have said. Even so, I’m still going to get him back.
