Web Portfolio
Back when video games first started to be released, I was super excited about them. Pong may not seem like much now, but back then, it was really amazing, and the games that arrived in the decade afterward were truly creative. I had a paper route back then, and I desperately wanted to buy my own system.
Once I saved enough, however, my dad threw me a curve ball. “Tell you what,” he said. “Instead of you buying a game system, I’ll buy you a computer, and you spend your money on the games for it.”
The man was a genius. I taught myself Basic on that computer, and started writing my own video games.
Years later (in 1986), I landed my first professional job as a computer programmer, and worked my way through college. I’ve been coding ever since.
I do mostly web development these days (PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.). You can see my work on these sites:
- Six Word Memoirs
- Shooting War
- Games for Educators
- Free RPG Day
- Impressions Advertising
- DaddyTales
- Dragon Run
- Mathfinder
… as well as on the site you’re looking at, of course.
