“Daddy, do you think I could be a writer?” my ten-year old asked me the other day.

“Of course! Why not?”

“Well,” he said. “I don’t think there are going to be any books by then.”

“Of course there will.”

“No.” He shook his head. “I think it’s all going to be electronic.”

I explained that there would still be books, but they’d just be in a different form.

He didn’t seem convinced.
